Head of Propulsion Engineering at D-Orbit, I lead an international team delivering propulsion projects from initial concept to operational missions. My experience encompasses research, innovation, and EU funding strategy; previously working at Intesa Sanpaolo on space economy initiatives and serving as an Expert for the European Commission.Across my career, I have contributed to research and technology development, spanning design, analysis, and testing, and held positions at the European Space Agency (ESA-ESTEC) and NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory, where I also contributed to potential and proposed NASA missions.I hold a PhD in Aerospace Engineering from Politecnico di Torino and am committed to professional development through ongoing and completed courses and programs at institutions such as CollĂšge des IngĂ©nieurs Italia, The Wharton School, the European Centre for Space Law.With over nine years of cross-sector experience in technology, finance, and strategy, I am dedicated to advancing innovation and driving impact within the global space economy.

Since 2023, I have delivered sessions for clients such as Zoppas Industries, Rinascente, Signify, Atradius, and Nokia through Randstad HR Solutions S.r.l., focusing on themes like innovation, science, technology, women in science, and future trends.My speaking engagements include invited talks such as participating as a panelist at the Sarunu Festival LAMPA in Latvia in 2024, where I contributed to discussions about Latvia’s evolving space industry, and presenting advanced concepts for rocket engine applications at the University of Hawaii at Manoa.I also actively support STEM education and outreach, having delivered seminars for Master SPICES students at the Università di Bologna as part of my work with D-Orbit, given talks for the student branch of SEDS Italy at Poliba, and engaged middle school students at the Istituto Comprensivo "Ugo Foscolo" in Torino, aiming to make space science accessible and exciting for the next generation.My commitment to innovation led me to join a United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) initiative centered on technology transfer for developing countries. As a co-author, I contributed to a publication that details the project’s outcomes and insights.I continue to mentor and advise others in my field. I have worked as reviewer for the Journal of Propulsion and Power, and I am a member of the Advisory Council for Harvard Business Review, where I provide perspectives that shape HBR’s content and future direction. As a mentor in the AIAA Mentor Match Program, I have guided emerging aerospace professionals. My advisory support extends to early-stage startups, such as Re Learn and Astradyne, helping them with business planning, funding strategies, and social impact. We engaging with incubation and acceleration programs like the MYllennium Award, ESA BIC Torino, and Leonardo–LVenture BIF.
